Isn't it nice to have friends as Daniël, who invited another friend and myself to make a sailing trip with his boat from Cannes to the island of Corsica -and back- in May? Look forward to it!
Beware of the above picture: Daniël was not drunk, but standing well upright, while the boat was tilting over during a trip along the coast of Southern Portugal last year... that was the real situation in this picture.

Fijn om te lezen dat ge eens naar Corsica gaat, ik ben er in de zomer van 2006 met de CM naartoe geweest, en het was echt een geweldige vakantie. We hebben in tenten geslapen op een camping die vlak tegen het strand gelegen was! Over enkele jaren wil ik zeker nog wel eens teruggaan.
Mei lijkt mij het ideale seizoen, ik ben er in augustus geweest en het was bijzonder warm.
Verder is er op Corsica geweldig mooie natuur te zien, in het midden van het eiland is een gebergte gelegen nabij de stad Corte, waar je schitterende wandelingen door de bergen kan maken en zelfs zwemmen in koude bergmeertjes.
Corsica is werkelijk een avontuurlijke vakantie, ik vind het veel beter dan overdadig luxueuse vakanties die handenvol geld kosten.
O ja, en dingen die je zeker niet mag vergeten te proeven in Corsica is de corsicaanse wijn en geitenkaas!

On second thought.. it does give a nice story. I don't know maybe it's just me, first thing I do in Photoshop is rotating the horizon.
Today a technician installed a new touchscreen in our boat, wrote the software in Vusual basic. He made this screensaver option to select an image file from he boat and chose one with the horizon tilted, taken by a professional marine photographer. I couldn't help mentioning it to him. It was a good photo, taken on a day with a dark cloud background and rays of sun highlighting the action is the boat was in race mode.
And here comes my story. As in independed working for boatowners he revealed me his secret that according to him always worked.. Tell the owner you are not very happy or convinced about something in your work -in this case for example the choice of the photo- and they will they you; No I think it's perfect.
If you tell you are happy with a detail about something in you work it's guarantied they will like to see it changed.
